The spring summer collection is centred on the pioneer’s lives of mountaineers and their perspective from the sky. The influences ranging from Sir Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgay’s ascent of Everest, to the fearless free climbing Californian “dirtbags” of the 1960’s and 70’s. The disciplined lines and modernist shapes run in parallel with the silhouette giving the collection an abstract definition. The fusion of sustainable fabrics with vivid blues expresses the bold statement towards sustainability. Climbing free is about rising above the clouds and escaping from the noise and distractions of the every day.
